Nifedapine(Nitroglycerin) Cream-anyone use it?

I saw a new GI doc today and that was one of the scripts he wrote out for me. He said it would help "relax my sphincter muscles" I don't exactly know what that means in terms of my symptoms. I have to go to a compounding pharmacy to get it filled, which I haven't done yet. I'm a little nervous using this and was wondering if anyone here had any experience-good or bad-with this cream? I'm the kind of person who gets benign palpitations from time to time. I'm afraid this epinephrine/nitroglycerin in this will have me all jacked up.

Ive used this before for my fissure ( which i got due to solid poop after going into remission). It can lower your BP and make you dizzy or give you headaches but thats it. If you have heart disease i think it is contraindicated.

Btw i used it 3 x /day for over 6 weeks

Oops sorry i jyst checked the one i used is called rectogesic and contains glyceryl trinitrate so thats different i guess? But the one i used is also used to relax sphincter muscles.
