I have been on it since the middle of January. How do I taper off of it?

I use hycort enemas and have never tapered off them. If I had to taper depending on symptoms I would start with every other night or every third night and see how things go, then if you are symptom free gradually go to just once a week.

I'm trying to do the same thing. I am not sx free yet but I'm worried that long term use will cause thinning of the mucousa. I was on them late in the year last year and then again since like February.
Brianlegacy are you sx free?
I started an every other day thing 2 days ago.

Back when I used to take them years ago I would taper by starting every other day for a week, then every third day for a week, etc until I was off of them completely. Just felt it was easier on the body than stopping abruptly. I actually do the same with the Mesalamine enemas when I'm taking them twice a day - do the every other day, every third day, etc thing till I'm back to once a day. It always seem to work out doing it that way.

If you can get a script
for VSL3 DS give it a shot. It is relatively cheap with a prescript
ion plan and it surely does not hurt.
