So here I am...

Ok, so, it's been a half a year since I posted. In short - this didn't "cure" me. Not that I expected 100% cure, either. Could be that I didn't do antibiotics to start, could have been because my mom (my donor) wasn't on a no-fiber or no-grains diet. Who knows.

We did continue doing some infusions after I got home. That process was ok, I don't know that it was helpful or not, really. I guess it seemed to help a little.

I did have a flare just this past week but came out of it really quickly - went back on the "intro" SCD diet and ate really well.

Anyway, Mark was great through the whole process and says that I'm one of his only UC patients that hasn't seen decent improvement after the treatment, but I also don't know how everyone else has fared since he told me that back in August or whenever. He also offered to help me do some infusions at home using donor stool, but I didn't take him up on that - yet. :) Don't know if I'll try again, but if I do, I'll definitely do a round of antibiotics first in order to clear my colon & start from a clean slate.

My flare wasn't too bad this past week. Last year at this time, it was really bad, the worst it had been in many, many years. But that's not what I'm talking about here.

Also, who is "this person" that you're talking about? "I don't even think this person is an MD."
