Few other points on vitamin d.
It seems that with sun exposure the body also makes between 5-10 other vitamin d like compounds which you
would not get from a supplement. These other compounds what ever they are,seem to not be talked about
much.
There is a connection between vitamin d and UC,but it seems not many if any have been put into remission with
taking extra vitamin d.
This is why I am now looking at what might interfere with the active form of vitamin d status.
Grains and linoleic/polyunsatureated fatty acids/AA are the only things I have come up with so far. Looks like too much vitamin A intake is also a problem,all the precursers from veggies are ok. Cofactors for vitamin d,
boron,vitamin K,magnesium,Zinc
Now it might be interesting to look at the
association between accutane and vitamin d and UC,retinoic acid.
