UC Flare up after liver transplant

I was diagnosed with UC when I was very young and responded well to meds for over 10 years. Recently I had a liver transplant and once I stopped taking the heavy pain killers I was on, my UC started to flare up again. I got a colonoscopy done and they said there wasn't much inflammation but it's been getting worse and worse to the point where I am afraid to leave my home if I don't know where a washroom is. There hasn't been any blood in about 2 weeks, but there is still D and the urgency is very bad. I've tried to eat gluten-free and dairy-free and those don't seem to have much effect.
Anyone have some words of advice?

Right now I'm on 30mg of pred, 2 pills of Asacol twice a day, as well as immuno drugs for rejection. Rectal meds don't work for me as the inflammation is pretty far up and it doesn't reach. I feel like I'm never going to get out of this because it's such a tough time trying to balance the rights meds without setting other things off.

Yeah it was because of PSC

Once you're completely healed, the flare might subside a little bit (hopefully). Your body and immune system are probably still working things out from the transplant, and that would affect your UC. I second telling your doctor.. and rectal meds can always help, like quincy said. Good luck and I hope everyting goes smoothly. =)
