That prednisone "high"

Just got a pretty rough scope result and so am back on 40mg Prednisone to taper. However its working great, I feel almost like I am in remission after just a couple days and want to jump back into my old eating/drinking ways. Appetite is amazing and I generally feel good. Was never one to get pred side effects except for anxiety at times.

Anyone else experience this boost from finally cooling off a flare, and what do we do to keep ourselves in check? I know I can't tolerate any other meds so I I'll probably have to start Remicade very soon.

I personally loved every moment taking pred. The euphoria was awesome and the not sleeping part not so bad until the end of my 3 months on it.

Glad you are feeling better and the pred is working for you. It does give you a high. I did a lot of online shopping while at 40mg so be careful of that euphoric feeling if you are making any life changing decisions. Best of luck to you!

Too bad it doesn't last...that's evil pred for you...the first 3 times on it I had the same wonderful feeling, the forth time nothing, the fifth time no help with anything at all, that's when I learned I was no longer responsive to it.
