Fissures

 

I just got out of the hospital for a flare and after a scope the doctor's told me I have 4 fissures likely caused by UC and the flare.  Anyone else suffer the same thing? 

Any advice to heal them or for the pain??????????

I'm still bleeding after every bowel movement.

I have them too here and there. I had 2 recently and they were very painful. I never had any special medication for them, my GI said to take 3 sitz baths a day for 15 minutes at a time. The hot water is supposed to help heal the area. She also said I could take stool softners to decrease the pain but you know how much a UCer wants softer movements...
