Just wanting some "prayers" sent my way.
A few years ago the perforated my bowel when I went in for this procedure and it almost
killed me.
If it weren't for this UC I wouldn't be having these every two years in my 40's.
Gawd, I hate the prep and I'm hating that I can't eat or leave the house.

Good luck, I've only had 1, I decided to have it without sedation as I was trying to be manly. That was a mistake! I drank protein shakes all day before mine, they filled me up but didn't block me up either!

can get "high" anymore. Can't drink, don't smoke anything illegal anymore and don't take drugs....
except for my yearly scope.

good luck mary! i hope its uneventful.

and i agree about sedation. i freakin love it! i can't sleep at all when i'm flaring so sedation is the only thing that really knocks me out.

I must get the wrong kind of sedation for my scopes, I don't feel high or woozy or anything. Doesn't even put me to sleep. Just makes me calm and forgetful, LOL.

Now, the nitrous oxide I get at the dentist, that stuff *almost* makes me look forward to getting drilled or whatever. That's some good stuff.
