Genitial Herpes and Flare - Ups

I think it's the opposite. I had an oral herpes blister out of nowhere a few weeks ago. That preceded by a few days a surprising increase in my bowel pain and joint pain. Either the valtrex caused the IBD flare or the herpes virus took advantage of a blip in my immune system to raise its ugly head.
