Are you Cold/ Lower Body Temperature?

Hi,

Since we have UC, we may have immune disfunction or lost weight which can result in some of us feeling cold, even in the summer heat!

So how about you? Is your temp below average? Do you get cold easily? How about your hands and fingers? When meeting people are you often embarrased by people who say how cold you're hands are?

Lol, obviously I am this way. However since being on SCD I have gained weight and feel much warmer generally. However I wish my fingers and hands felt a bit warmer, especially as a guitar player. Also, I just had my temp taken at the doctors and I was 97.2 which is normal apparently.

I feel cold when I am reducing my calorie intake.

I've had cold hands for as long as I can remember. Oddly, I've also had problems with anemia from the time I was a little kid, even getting iron shots in the bum. Maybe I should go stick my hands on people and ask how they feel since all my bloodwork is good right now, ha.

But recently I've been sweating a lot more than usual due to pred.

I was cold when I was anemic and very sick with UC, but generally, I am warm.
