Mindoverbutter- I have a question for you, what ratio of meat to veggie do you eat? How much meat would you say you ate a day/ how many veggies? Do you eat any fruits?
Chrissy, this is basically what my 3 meals look like
Breakfast pt1: 3or 4 scrambled eggs in coconut oil with half an avacado
Breakfast pt2: banana panceakes (1 banana, 1 egg, 1 Tbsp coconut flour, fried in coco oil or goat milk butter) *
*Because of food combining rules I try to have these an hour apart and switch up which happens first
Lunch: grass fed burger stuffed with garlic and turmeric. A side of spinach with salt and butter
Dinner: salmon covered in ginger and turmeric. A side of pureed carrots with salt and butter.
Snacks: homemade yogurt with coconut flour and failed attempt at peanut butter
cookies, almond flour banana breads with honey, chicken bone broth soup, spoonfuls of peanutbutter and honey
All of the above meals all revolve, to mimic the rotation diet**.
I also usually have a soup going on during the week which physically has chicken and carrots, but it has been cooked with celery and onions, so those are in the water and fat. The soup is a delicious go-to food if you have them portioned out and nothing else ready at the time. It's filling and keeps you hydrated. It's also a wonderful appetizer if you bought a small fish and need some for lunch at work the next day too.
I try to have a vegetable with every meal, but I try not to eat the whole amount I Cooked. The bags of Trader Joe's baby spinach shrivel up pretty tiny, I try to make sure this is put into atleast 2 meals, even if I'm still hungry. If I'm still hungry i'll have some yogurt or soup. However hunger is not an issue on this diet at all.
Saturday night, I tried Kale! Seemed to go well, as I seem to do well with dark leafy greens... Kale is great because 1, I can make kale chips which will be a great on-the-go snack and when I start juicing Kale is a fantastic base.
InSoFla, nice! I believe there is a product called "Goatein" by Garden of Life, maybe it's cheaper online!!! Have you heard of the rotation diet? ** Basically you rotate your foods so you don't grow intolerant of things you eat every day...
