I've been struggling for the last few weeks with problems. Remicade is technically putting me in "remission" from a clinical observation point of view. However, there are still horrid IBS symptoms at times. For the last few weeks the internal balance has been very off kilter (it's never super, haha). I have been on antibiotics recently to combat upper respiratory issues. I've supplemented with probiotics of all sorts, sometimes very strongly.
I am having terrible gut gurgling at times. My stools are orange watery small pieces that float for the most part. Sometimes it's just an orange explosion of diarrhea.
At the same time I'm getting horrible headaches during the day, chest pains, and an overall aching sick feeling. Most likely these are a separate issue, but worth mentioning. Have already run chest x-rays that cleared out fine. Am not running a fever, and have not been any time in the last month that I've monitored it.
Any ideas what's going on?? These stools are similar to the way my body has acted in the past when I consumed milk or milkshakes. The stools loosen up, I get gassy, the stools float, they are watery, and much more frequent.
I managed to go from morning until after work without having stools at work yesterday, but the stools came back in frequency in the evening and today.
Thanks!
