flying after surgery for j pouch

My daughter had the j pouch op 3 weeks ago she is recovering well after her 6 and a half op wants to fly to Spain (2 and a half hours) to seem me. when would she bit fit to do this???

I think it really depends on her more than anything. Some people get back to feeling confident and capable of "holding it" pretty quickly, others seem to need some time to adjust. Hopefully you get responses from some of the members who have been through the surgery. I would ask her and try to gauge how she's feeling, no pressure of course. It shouldn't be too long before she regains her confidence.

Well, if I do surgery (or rather, 3 surgeries) I am going to be flying back for a few hours just days after each surgery, which the surgeon has told me will not be an issue... So i dont see why weeks after should be a problem.

I don't see why not as long as she is feeling up to it. Perhaps give a call to her surgeon just for peace of mind. That's great that she's feeling well enough to travel. :)
