Question for beatuc

Beatuc - I think I saw a previous post where you mentioned your GI eventually started reducing your IMuran dose. How long were you on it before beginning to drop your dose? My GI is considering dropping my Lialda dose if next scope is clear but doesn't want to do anything with the IMuran yet. It seems to be working very well, but if I'm able, I'd like to reduce the IMuran at some point...

Sorry for the delay, i just saw this.
I started dropping my dose of imuran after about 6 months on my own. My doc was aware of it, but wasn't "on board" until we did the blood test that showed I was at a therapeutic level even after lowering the dose. I increase my dose when flaring then drop the dose when in remission.
