Insomia w/ enemas!!

So, I've been taking 100mg of Hydrocordisone Enemas for 7 weeks now. And I'm now on a regimine of every other day. Now when I take the enema at night I can't sleep! Its like I'm on predisone again. I know the two are similar, but my GI says the side effects are not nearly the same. Then why can't I sleep and have terrible mood swings!? Anyone else go thru this!! Hope everyone is doing well

It is about equal to a 10mg does of Pred if retained all night. Less if retained only a few hours. I am not sure how fast it would get absorbed and affect your sleep, but it makes sense that there is some similar effect as the pills. Also it seems to me that I don't sleep as well when my butt is full of liquid. Basically, I take Ambien every night with y enema.

Just try a half every night instead of a whole every other.
