First, I cut the gluten from my diet which wasn't so hard because there are lots of gluten-free alternatives these days. ;-)
Many of the gluten free alternative are based off rice flour (i.e. Gluten free bead, is mostly made out of rice)
If you cut gluten and cut rice, your alternatives will dwindle very fast. You'll be left with meat and veggies, meat and veggies, meat and veggies until infinity.
I cut gluten and dairy but did not cut rice and potato. Actually, there was a time where I did cut all carbs. I lasted for about
4 months but then I just didn't feel great. I was tired, hungry, etc and was tired of eating just meat/veggies, so I added those carbs back. I felt instantly better but left out gluten and dairy.
