Bowel spasms

I wish I could help you linden, but I don't really know what's going on. I know sometimes you just have to take medication because symptoms are so bad, but you are really just adding another variable into the mix. Did you try anything before taking the medication? (like the breathing women do while in labor).

I am starting to have pain with my BMs now, which I didn't have before. The more formed they become, the more pain and nausea I feel when they pass.

I also feel bad that you have to deal with unsympathetic receptionists. I don't know where the crap they get that from, but hopefully she was just having a bad moment and she won't be like that all the time. I sometimes wonder if there is a way to remind them that you are their job.

Sorry to read that you're having bowel spasms; they are really the pits. Do you get them after bms or at other times, too? I don't know the med you mentioned above, but in the past my gastro Rxed Levsin or Hyomax anti-spasmodic pills that dissolve under the tongue. Their main side effect is mild drowsiness. / Old Hat (32 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)
