Constipation = Going into remission??

Hey everyone!
First off I hope that everyone is well, or as well as you can be with this darn disease :( ... Here's my current problem...since being diagnosed in February it has been a long and rough road into remission. Currently I'm on 150 mg of Imuran and now coming off my 100mg of hydrocortisone enemas. I no longer have bloody stools and have very normal looking stools! The only thing is that I've been getting very constipated like two times a week (especially if I've taken immodium) but the constipation will last for 2-3 days after taking immodium. Though this is great and beats going to the Bthrm 10x a day, I hate to complain about this. But then when I need to go I'm in awful pain and their will be a huge amount of stool, this only last for about 10 min though. Does this mean I'm healing and going into clinical remission? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Madcat25- Been having constipation for about two days now. The pattern seems to be when I take immodium. But it can't possibly last that long.

I would stop taking the immodium, seems clear that's the culprit behind your constipation...especially if you're not having frequency issues. I'd also up the water intake too.
