Delayed my remi infusion for a few weeks to get a nice reminder of what I will be dealing with if I don't continue my infusions. Took about
8 weeks to start to feel that pressure pretty regular through the day that I need to go. Will end this experiment on Friday. No matter how good I feel I am always just a week or maybe even a day away from feeling really crappy again.

It's always nice to have reminders but be careful of that slippery slope.

Does this mean you have to be on Remicade the rest of your life? EW...no thanks! Remicade and Humira both failed me. Honestly, I am glad I had the surgery sooner than later. I really couldn't wait too long since I was 63 at time of surgery (66 now) and my overall health was going down the crap shoot big time. If the disease didn't kill me I would be dead from the drugs by now.

The older you are Christine the easier that is to say. Thing back to your younger years. At 22 I want a normal life and one without a colon just wouldnt feel normal.
Dr-A If you delay and start flaring what if the Remicade doesnt help? Its possible no? Its like taking lesser drug, it will keep you out of a flare but not necessarily be able to get you out of one.

Yeah, it's probably easier if you're like 3 years old and get a ileo or 100 like Christine (just kidding lol, ), then nobody cares.
