I just finished the Twilight movies *OT*

Jeesh I remember when vampires were freaking scary horror film badasses who took no guff from no one. Now as the subject of tween romance novels like the Twilight series, vampires are reduced to a mere pretty-boy crying into tissues over whether a certain woman loves them or whatnot...please. Haha the classic vampires of yore like Nosferatu would make quick work of the those new tweeny versions of that same character

Dark Night was good all of the others mentioned... meh.

Ive seen the movies. Ive also read all the books. Beat that!

Read all the books and saw all the movies . TRUE BLOOD- is the best show on TV. Can't wait for the new season! Yeah!!!!!

Little known fact or a forgotten one - Robert Pattison was in the 4th Harry Potter movie (and in flashbacks for the 5th movie). I have told my Twilight obsessed niece this (she's 12, going on 16), and she says - Aunt Mary, you are lying! RP would never have done a Harry Potter movie!!!!

Someone said (Sherry?) they read the hunger games books but haven't seen the movie yet. OMG, you HAVE to see the movie. They did a superb job. When you watch it, have tissues, because you will need them.

I'm the one obsessed with the hunger games, at 57, it's odd but true. I cultivated my family fan base - so much so that I convinced 7 family members to read the books and I ended up seeing the movie with several of them, multiple times. They'd say - darn, you've seen the movie, I really wanted to see it and then I'd be going to see it again. I ended up seeing it in the theaters a whopping 14 times.

What would we all do w/o our pleasant escapes like this?

I read the HG books but didn't see the movies. :) I will have to see them.

My gf says they both ugly but I would totally take Edward cuz Jacob is too native. The little girl is awesome btw I want her power.

Hunger games was awesome movie but I never read the book is it good?

I'm reading the second Hunger Games Book "Catching Fire".
Saw the movie and was hooked.....started reading the books.

In our library system the movie and books are categorized for "Young Adults". I disagree and think they are appropriate reading for all ages.

I think the story line that involves a small percentage of the population of Panem ruling over the Districts is very relevant in today's economy.

I remember Robert Pattinson from Harry Potter days and think he hasn't changed much. Don't care much for the Twilight stars.
Saw Kristin Stewart interviewed on a talk show and she appeared to have little or no personality.

If you liked the hunger games movie, the books are even better. Simply adore the hunger games. There's just no other way to describe how I feel about them. The premise is a shock and sad but similar to Harry Potter, Lost, Star Wars, you need a shocking premise (injustice), for a hero to emerge and in the hunger games, you have a superb heroine. Love Katniss! Ah but Cinna and Peeta are my faves, followed by Finnick (adore Finnick!).

I could talk about the hunger games all day long. lol

That was a close call with the Twilight premiere. Sick man. Thank goodness his mother did the right thing.
