I was a very bad girl yesterday. Had lunch at a place called Johnney Rockets. Had cheesey fries and a tuna melt. From there went to see the new James Bond movie. Had popcorn with extra butter. Finished it all! Normally I would have been done in with the Cheesey fries and the tuna melt. To my surprise ,nothing bothered me. Felt pretty good all day. Had to think what have I been taking that is different. Has to be the VSL#3 DS . Been waiting to get approved to take Humira weekly instead of everyother week. This would be the second week when the Humira needed to be upped. Could taking the VSL#3 DS make a difference? HUM!!!!!

Now if you ate like that every day, I'd assume your stool would get looser from all the fibre and fat...but regardless. It's nice to hear you had a good day!
Maybe the vsl helped in slowing things down a bit....and you're healing, so not having UC symptoms.

can you make the choice to go back to every two weeks?
One day of food shouldn't make a decision....to me, this proves food isn't the issue for UC symptoms.

Yes I can go back to every two weeks. My thought when I asked to up the dose , get it in to a real remission then back down.
Was fun eating all that crap LOL!!!!!!
Have been feeling better since taking the VSL. It comes out so much cheaper for me then the Renewlife 80 bill.

Maybe the renewlife 80 billion didn't agree with you..not all do.
Did you ever try the 50 billion one?
Still, it's awesome you're feeling better.

quincy, tried them all. They agreed with me. Never had a problem. Maybe I just need the mega amounts they put in The VSL#3 DS. Who knows. They had samples at GI's office of the non perscript
ion one. Took it was ok with it. I asked for the scrip one . He said ok!!!! Why not try I said to myself! $50.00 for 3 months. Only taking half of a packet 450bill.

In some cases it does prove food isn't the issue, especially if said person is healed to handle it.
I can eat baked wheat products like chicken fingers in remission and flaring - yet I can't go near bread if I'm having issues.

I feel that some processed foods are better for me when flaring. Were all different.
