Hi everyone!
It's been a while since I've posted. Came across this article, & wanted to share it.
What do you guys/gals think? Has anyone tried this?

Here is a short paper on the removal of activated neutrophils. Interesting that just by removal

remission is achieved. This has been around for years in Japan,I suspect it saves lots of colons.

What is counter-intuitive is how we get into a really bloody flare but that blood loss does not equate to this form of blood removal, if it did we would improve on our own it would be self-limiting.

yes, it is not the quantity of blood, but the proportion of white cells

Well this might be cheaper.

DBwithUC yes I'm in the UK first I've read about it. Do you know if they had it done privately or free on the NHS.
I'll definitely ask my GI next time I see him, iv not maintained remission since I was pregnant.

I really pray that they are getting closer to finding cure or at least a least a less toxic way of remission.

We also had this article in the news in the UK over a month ago.

I can't search up the thread now. they did mention a hospital. I jsut remember because it was the 1st time I heard about this treatment.

Quick review of bloodwork over 6 years show I am always 'High' on neutrophils leading up to a major flare and/or hospitalization.
