Ho Ho Ho: Last time I was checked,30 years ago,6cm. Uc started 32 years ago.
Today who knows,bleed every day.
Immune system is hyper active now.
Broke a toe/sever sprain is sept,had a immune attack at toe,and also other parts of body that immune sys decided to attack.
Last week wend to dentist,for a crown,they drill the stub at the gum line lots of blood,well mixing blood with mouth bacteria is not good,immune attack in throat.
Why my son lost his colon and I did not, don't know.
He does super well on Paleo.

You may notice my research efforts are getting pretty frenzied, I am reall getting tired of this, it sucks and I am

getting old.  Believe it or not there is a 20 something trapped in this body.

i agree, somedude. i don't know how you've lasted this long, old mike! i've only had UC since i was 17 but i feel like i live in the body of an 80 yr old.

All I can tell you is after my son had his colon removed/saved his life,I have become hard core.
He just told me tonight at are Paleo veggie beef soup dinner,that if he knew then what he knows now it would not have happened.  He believes that since he had all his mercury fillings out and is on grass fed Paleo diet,that

he has improved much,and that is the secret.

I had all my mercury fillings removed about 12 years ago, no difference in me.
But that of course is speculation,this is a tuff disease,and the immune system knows more than us and all the doc's in what it wants to attack and why. You can suppress it, shut it down and it still finds
work arounds.

Had a temp bag for 3 months or so until everything healed then he had take down,which is a reconnect of the small bowel to the pouch.
