To All the great forum members who make this forum great, with your input, support and advice, and are always there to lend an ear, I am deeply appreciative. This is my extended forum family, and I do feel blessed.

Thank you Soystud and Somedude, for keeping it real for all of us, and always making sure we can see the comedy in our own failings. We can always count on you for a good laugh and a chuckle, lol.

Thank you OldMike (you aren't old at all!), for ensuring we stay ontop of research and for your tireless efforts of sharing all the knowledge with us.

I couldn't imagine a more wonderful group of people to have this awful condition with. I always read posts and think about how amazing it is that we are able to keep a good sense of humor through what we deal with. I am also grateful for the heartfelt support i've received and seen others receive through times of need. I am convinced this is the nicest group of people on the planet.

It's good the prilosec is working well. Please, just keep an eye out for the pernicious anemia. As you probably know more than most, the prilosec prevents b12 production...

insofla, i'm doing about the same. still flaring but i did indulge on xmas with some paleo cheesecake, ham, green beans, and artichoke dip (my forever weakness). i am dreading tomorrow's bathroom time : ( hoping i didn't do too much damage but it's done and over with now! hope you had a delicious dinner!

insofla, i actually feel fine today and a little constipated which is great haha

i just made up this recipe and it was a big hit. everyone was shocked it had no dairy in it. i freezed a few pieces for when i just want a darn piece of cheesecake!

crust: 1.5 cups pecans, 1/2 cup pitted medjool dates, pinch of salt, 1/4 cup shredded coconut
filling: 3 cups nuts- i used 1.5 cups macadamias, 1 cup pine nuts, .5 cups almonds (no skins), 1/2 cup honey/agave, pinch of salt, 1 T vanilla extract, 1/2 cup coconut oil, 3/4 cup lemon juice)
