I know this may be hard to believe but this worked for me.
I've had IBS with a few bowel infections for almost 10 years now. I haven't had blood in stool but my bowels are often in a state of inflamation.
about 5 days ago, I got some sort of bacteria infection and was in excruciating pain (which i'm sure most people on here know all about).
After about the third day of pain (pain bouts would last for about 12hrs after eating) I decided to stop trying to avoid the pain and to face it head on.
So what I would do is just close my eyes and focus inward on the most painful part of my guts. After about 5-20 seconds of this that pain point would disapear and I would find the next most painful part of my guts. All I was doing is just paying attention and even trying to connect energy from my heart at the same time to help each point of pain heal.
This went on for about an hour and by that time, most of the pain was gone and my entire body was completely relaxed. I actually felt really good, as if my body had completely healed. And so far I haven't had a flare up. I think whatever bacteria had infected my guts has cleared.
So from now on, whenever I notice any pain in my body, I just pay attention to it with my mind. I go ad deep into the pain as possible and it seems that's what my body wants me to do because the pain eventually disappears.
I hope this helps somebody on here.
