Found a fix for mesalamine toilet seat stains!

I had some REALLY bad ones that were streaking down the underside of the toilet seat that I couldn't get rid of. Out of curiosity, I sprayed it with some Lysol Bathroom Cleaner (aerosol, blue can) and went off to do some other chores.

I came back and the stains were completely gone! I did a 2nd application for good measure and it appeared to have whitened up a bit more.

Also, FYI, those stains are also due to urine. They aren't just from your poo.

These are the active ingredients...no peroxide it seems.  wonder what the 99% other ingredients are..lol.

LYSOL Bathroom Cleaner - Aerosol

Blue can. Costs about $2.xx at the store.. I think it is supposed to compete with Scrubbing Bubbles.

Just spray it on the stain and walk away. It'll eventually evaporate on its own and leave behind a stain free toilet seta.

Just regular bleach also gets rid of the stains. I use Flash with bleach spray (available in the UK) and they come right off. But the better preventative measure is to simply get some toilet paper and cover that area before you have that gassy explosion! All thee medicine just goes on the paper and then usually I have a normal stool after I get rid of the gas and excess enema.

Not sure about the walls! You could try dabbing some bleach on the stain? You may need to repaint the wall! Lol!
