I stuffed myself with breaded pudding and chocolates and cakes over the entire holiday season. It just kept flowing to my door and our table when out dining with family.
I was doing great with digestive enzymes even hit 'PP' perfect poop.
Then early January I had a freshly steamed salmon from Whole foods with a curry rub. Tasted great and the more I ate it the worse I got - quickly. I tossed it however I was stuck in rinse mode. Then the rinse became red colored for a week straight - I bled a lot and am back on special iron tabs. This did not seem to be salmonella etc. Hard to say what went wrong but it was clear I would soon be on prednisone if I could not reverse the collapse.
Last supplement added : Concentrated Cherry juice
2nd to last supplement added : Serrapeptase
I take back my endorsement of each.
Now I had taken Serrapeptase for weeks and was fine BUT maybe it is foolish to take both digestive enzymes and a systemic enzyme. It was only supposed to clear away fibrin from clots and dead tissue to help with inflammation - seems like with digestive enzymes it was doing more than that and eating a hole into me. God only knows, what I do know is I was going down and I subtracted and added back in the right items. This after all was my FIRST ever winter flare.
All red is gone, rinse mode is gone, sore spot in intestine is gone. Everything is improving, back up 6 lbs in body weight.
Protocol to get back to normal ( and probably settle on this protocol and stop experiementing )
- Terramin clay pills at 3:00 am with glass of water set out before bed
- Psyllium Seed powder 2 spoons, cod liver oil lemon flavored with whey protein blended
- 4 Psyllium husk pills ( I finally felt them this time, could feel it moving over inflammed area like sand paper )
- VSL#3DS
- The other 3 over the counter probiotics I had laying around.
- 'Go Raw' sprouted sunflower seeds - great tasting with sea salt
- Eggs, butter, swiss, siggy icelandic low carb yogurt, chobani candy yogurt
- Harvest seeded bread
- No juice no soft drinks only water and Ultima hydration powder or just water
- lots of chicken
- brown rice
- some potatos
- some mixed greens
Took 2 days off from lifting weights - body felt like it was doing a lot of heeling apart from the muscles so I just let it heal.
