Running a low grade fever on Humira

My allergic reaction was better today, so I didn't call my doctor. But now I am running a low grade fever. It is 99.6. I am on Humira. I know if it goes up to 100 I need to call someone. But I am thinking it could just be from inflammation returning since I went down to 5 mg of prednisone on Friday. I really don't want to wake the doctor up. Any thoughts?

I don't know if this would apply in your case, but a few years ago I got a full body rash and started running a fever. I was able to get into my primary that day and as I was talking to her I felt more itching and burning so I lifted my shirt. The rash was spreading right before our eyes. She told me that sometimes in the immune compromised, they can get rashes with a virus. So maybe you're getting a virus? But definitely keep an eye on your fever and go see the doc pronto if it increases.

My situation was similar to Red_34, I was running a fever of 105 and when the doc lifted my shirt blisters were popping up before our eyes; the cause was negative reaction to Mercaptopurine. I was taking it for UC. Monitor your fever closely, if it is a fever from inflammation, you need to get antibiotics before it gets worse. When I started with low grade fevers from UC, I usually ended up hospitalized if medications failed to stop it.
