I have reflux. Haven't noticed probiotics having any impact but my reflux is actually LPR which may be different.

Hi Quincy, I just use IBS support, not sure if your familiar but it's a leading probitic here.. It's not a potent one. I havnt noticed previously but yesterday had sudden gastritis symtoms out of the blue. When I googled reflux and probiotics I noticed a few saying it makes it worst. Tbh I think the very strong coffee I had made me jittery, triggering anxiousness, which may have lead to excess acid.

don't forget that rectal inflammation that's limited can also give you some upper gastro symptoms. If you have reflux, it will be more noticable because of the mixed up signals and possibly slower peristalsis/or spasming.

If I drink more coffee than I normally do (1 cup in the morning), I sometimes get heartburn. I think it's just the acid in coffee.

I have no symtoms of anything Down there, all bloods are normal. It's more upper abdo. This has probably been ongoing since I started to cut the nexium in half. It doesn't come in 10mg dose. Dr said ween off it. Some people even cut it down again before coming off them. Te rebound can be severe.

Petah, try DGL (deglycerhizinated licorice tablets) they are instantly effective for me and my family (whom share acid reflux) !! :) Natural too.

I wanted to try DGL, but my health food store couldn't source it, did I read somewhere on here it being used for UC as well? Tbh I think what's going on is more to do with having my gallbladder out :( about two years now. I get like a sudden increase in acid, then my stomach fills with air, I can literally feel it move all the way until its out.. I burp like crazy, and if I'm sick it pure bile. Ive only had that with morning sickness.. My app for CDD is tomorrow in Sydney so hopefully will get answers
