Did you have a scope? And if so, did you have any eosinophiles show up? There is an "allergic" type of colitis called eosinophilc colitis but you can have eonsinophiles in your colon/rectum even if you don't have an allergic issue apparently (it depends on the amount I think). There's a small study using Ketotofen for UC - it's not exactly an anti histamine (I think) - it's a mast cell stabilizer which decreases/prevents histamine production. You can always try and see what happens. Might help.
