It took me about 3 weeks. It worked very quickly and I saw relief in about 3-4 days that got me to about 90% remission which blew me away. In the second week, for a few days it did not look like it was working as well and I increased the Spinach/SF butter/powder (made from sf seeds in a coffee grinder) and got back to 95-98% remission in about the third week. The key is to stick with it, even if things look like they are not working. Many people on this board that have had success with this actually went backwards before they went in to remission.
I would also encourage you to add resistant starches and sodium butyrate. I would be surprised if you were not happy with the results. I still eat some spinach and sf seeds every day and will for a while. I would not suggest raw spinach unless your gut can handle it. Also, raw spinach can have a detrimental effect on your thyroid if used long term. Cooked spinach does not.

I have been eating an entire brick of chopped frozen spinach every day for the past couple weeks and admit it does help a lot. My joint pain is gone too! (I never even realized how much my joints were bugging me until I realized they didn't hurt anymore!). I was doing sunflower seed butter too but thought it was making things worse, I worried about
the seeds making things worse. But you say some people get worse before better? Do you think the seeds are as important as the spinach?
I've never heard of resistant starches and a quick google starches has left me more confused. R1,r2,r3, or r4 starches? What am I supposed to be eating? Can you elaborate on this a bit for me? One thing I know is my body looves buckwheat (I make gluten-free buckwheat cornmeal pancakes). Maybe this is one of the resistant starches and that is why?
Can you get Sodium Butyrate at a health food store? I am in Canada so no amazon.com for me :(
Thanks so much for the tips. This is why I like this site, it gives me new ideas and new hope! :)
