ever take pred on empty stomach?

I haven't taken my pred dose for the morning yet, and just got a call from doc saying he wants to do a flex sig on me. This will be with sedation b/c my last one was so uncomfortable and I have a lot of inflammation. So, I can't eat anything, and can only drink up to two hours before. Should I take the pred with just water now, or wait and take it later in the day when I get back?

Well, when I am being cscoped I take my normal morning dose of red with water- earlier than usual if need be to comply with the "nothing at all, not even water" after a certain time. I normally always take lred with a meal but going without pred until the afternoon, if I was in a flare or something, would set me back and worsen the flare so I, personally, will take iton empty stomach jn that situation.
