First of all, think horses, not zebras.
In other words, start at the simplest cause...... gas not kidney stones, cancer, etc.
I don't like to take a drug unless it's absolutely necessary so recommend that you look at natural ways to deal with excess gas.
If you suspect a certain food is responsible, don't eat it or don't eat as much. (I like brussell sprouts, they don't like me.)
I find that a dose of slippery elm helps me with most stomach or abdominal discomfort (like when I cheat and have something with lactose in it).
