This is probably a "nothing more to see here" story- it's an old study (2001) with a TNBS rat model but what the heck, while colostrum never did a thing for me, I I dont think I ever tried lactoferrin for any length of time <old Mike no doubt has tried megadosing years ago)- so might be worth a try. Anyway, here is the 2001 study:

Pro: How did you ever guess, yes been there done that, but it does have some interesting possibilities,
you could give it a shot. Cheap enough, what does not work on me may work on someone else.

OM- I notice the dosages used in the study were rather impractical for humans- eg 200 mg per kg for the rats- that would mean tking an entire bottle a day for a similar human dosage, lol. Oh well, another supplement to harmlessly throw into the mix. I had been trying up to 10 mg melatonin a night a month ago and when I started flaring I stopped. It was probably not the melatonin but ya never know.

Thats funny so was I and seemed to get worse. I think 10 mg is toooo much. 1mg might work
better. Last thursday had a rough night, had to run to the can in the last 3 frames of bowling, then could not get out of the alley for 1/2 hour, then got home and spent another 1/2 hour. I did notice before i increased the does
bleeding seemed to be reduced. I was a 2.5mg,so I may revisit at low dose.
I was up to 10mg at the time.
