What do you think this is?

I'm on Cortenemas and Entocort (for about 3-4 weeks now) and I'm still having bleeding, urgency, d, the whole nine yards. Along with that, I also have times where I go pee and without feeling like I needed to poop, I will end up having a lot of blood, mucous, and some d come out. It's almost as if it's just sitting in my rectum so when I go to pee, it has a chance to come out. This is separate obviously from having urgency issues. It seems to be happening almost every time I pee and then there are sometimes where I just feel like it's full down there and I need to go empty it. It's annoying and just gross. There are times where it leaks out, not often but enough that I feel like I have to be careful. Not to mention that the meds I'm on should be helping and they don't seem like they're doing much. None of the ASA's or other oral/rectal colitis meds help me besides steroids and 6MP. I'm not on 6MP right now because I was having issues with it a few months back but that's a whole other story.

Why aren't the Cortenemas working, are they not getting far enough up or is this issue I'm having due to rectal inflammation that the enemas bypass? They give me horrible night sweats and I just hate using them, especially when they don't seem to be doing their job this time.

Hi...firstly, have you contacted your doctor...and to make sure you don't have anything else happening such as an invading gut invader?

Are you on probiotics?

Are you thinking of going to one of the biologics?

It sucks that the steroid topicals aren't helping considering the time you've been on them.
