scd buddy !

oh i'd love an SCD friend. I have a few already on here, but I love sharing recipes with people. are you doing just the intro diet or general SCD?

I'm starting on the GAPS diet, which is pretty much the SCD diet minus the dairy. I am not doing the full intro, most of my diet consists of soup made with homemade chicken bone broth and vegetables
(I'm not sticking with just carrots, it's just too bland!) I add cauliflower, broccoli, onion, celery, garlic, and mushrooms). I also made the jello which I find yummy. I am also eating avocados and scrambled eggs in coconut oil, some cooked beets, chicken, fish with homemade mayonnaise, bananas, a bit of peeled apple, and a few other things I can't think of right now. It helps but is incredibly time consuming to eat everything from scratch. When I make my bone broth I throw in the chicken skins too and blend the fat into the soups, it helps keep me from feeling like I am starving! Would be nice to have others to chat with about our progress and to swap recipes!
