Anyone have luck with methotrexate after failing biologics and AZA?

I have never done well on immune suppressing meds (well, except for my winder drug Pred lol which I hapoen to do great on oh well- and uceris seems to work too but isnt maintenance either) but it doesn't hurt to ask. I notice on pubmed that MTX doesn't even have a good track record as a maintenance drug for UC, so I seriously doubt I will bother with it but just thought I would ask.

I was in a drug trial for MTX last year. It was a reverse study so we knew I was getting the MTX and not a placebo. I tried it for 3 months. It did not help my UC at all. I have failed humira, remicade and aza.

My rheummy wanted to start me on methotrexate but he called my GI (actually during my appt) and he said it wouldn't help at all with the UC (I have bad joint pain from UC) so we went with Aza instead. After reading up on methotrexate I'm pretty happy this happened, seems like a nasty drug.
