Try going to Boulder hospital when they have had their computers down for 10 days. Angiogram ended with the surgeon chickening out and not attempting to thrombolyse my Ulner Artery after I fought to get prednisone down to a lower dose upon return.
Worse they completely forgot to post-process me, I got my required ride home and noticed I had all the ekg leads stuck on me, no script
from the surgeon and a weird tight wrap on the IV arm. I cut that off and noticed it caused the blood to not move and a 10-inch clot formed on that arm. That is the arm they stuck 50 times with no clotting problem during my 5-day stay. Because they never wrapped a tourniquet on it until yesterday.
I went back in today and asked them why this happened and they admitted the nurse screwed up. Did a bunch of sonograms to ensure everything else over there was cool and said 'sorry'.
Wonderful now I have an abandoned ulner artery on the left and a clotted 'superficial' vein on the right.
I think it is time to stop going to this hospital be it weekday or weekend. They are also moving across town to a new facility being built and that cannot help things.
