but it's exciting to have gas that's *just* gas.

Yup all those wonderful "-ols" substitute (i.e. indigestable, i.e. gas and cramp producing) sugar alcohols. I know sometimes people takeone and offer me one probably because I had bad breath (I bet some of us IBDers can have funky breath from our disfunctional digestion) but I always decline, knowing what a number they do on me.

I had two occasions of severe cramping and abdominal pain to the point of not being able to Stand up straight, after consuming suger free Lollies. This was before my diagnosis, only months before.
