One week on UCeris, not doing the best

I'm starting to feel bloated like I did on Pred and my bleeding is still the same. Wouldn't I see some improvement by now?

The bloating is the worst! It makes you feel so uncomfortable, icky, sick and you don't want to be touched that's for sure!

Are you taking anything else besides Uceris? I'm sorry to hear that you're not doing well.

Me too!  Was hoping for this drug to do more than it has.  cry

I'm going to switch up my diet to the starch resistant and add in brown rice, navy beans and green bananas. I'm on asacol too. I'm giving UC one more week then I'm off it, no improvement yet.

Uceris has not really did anything for me in over a week either. Waiting to start Remicade next week. I have had no side effects though

I am on my first week of Uceris also. Has stopped the urgency (only twice a day now) but I do have the bloating and mild cramping. Since I was in a mild flare I was hoping this would knock it out pretty easily but doesn't seem to be helping at all to be honest. I'll give it 2 - 3 more weeks. If things stay the same looks like It'll be the prednisone route. Hopefully just a low does since it's a mild flare. (also taking 3 Lialda's a day, just started that today).
