I had pain there twice. The first time it was just front pain and I had bad blood values from my gallbladder/liver.
The second time I had pain just below my right breast along my ribcage that radiated to the back. It turned out to be shingles (another manifestation of chicken pox). It hurt quite a bit...hurt to breath, hurt to move, etc. Steroids make you more susceptible to shingles. If you develop a rash please go see a doctor ASAP. If you treat shingles early it will be less severe.
If I were you I would call my GI's office and tell them about the pain and ask if you should be checked out. That right side is the side of your gallbladder and whenever I reported pain in that area they would do bloodwork and/or do an ultrasound to make sure things were not inflamed.
It could also be a muscle pull (like a pulled intercostal muscle).
