So yesterday one of my friends told me about a single and hardly used restroom -- and very out of the way. Talk about walking out of there with a little spring in my step, lol. The other restrooms around have about six stalls a piece and are very busy, so it's hard when you have a loose stool day. It even has a chair in there!

Haha that's great!  I know how you feel.  I was at a huge convention with tons of people using the one main restroom with no privacy when I heard about a bathroom in an out-of-the way corner.  I was so exited to be able to relax and go.  Funny how your priorities change with UC.

Funny story, several years ago me, the hubby and several friends used to attend the Black and Blue ball. This is a fundraiser for the MDA in which mostly bikers attend (black = leather, blue = jean). Anyway, I wasn't feeling the greatest but at $125 a ticket I wasn't going to pass this opportunity. I had to use the bathroom desperately and the ladies was filled with a line so I asked one of the waiters floating around if there was another bathroom available. He took me down the hall to the executive bathroom...you want to talk about hitting the payload! Plush carpet, wood walls, soap, lotions and perfume on the counter....3 ply toilet paper with heated toilet seats...and an attendant! I felt like royalty! Lol

Very exciting! I used to go around my college campus to find the most out of the way bathroom spots (and this is when I had normal bowel movements).

Woah Red - that is the dream public bathroom! Japanese bathrooms (when they aren't squat toilets) have the most technologically advanced toilets! When I visited I couldn't find the flush button there were so many other controls, all written in Kanji!

My son and I were watching a show on TV about cheapskates. There was a story about this family that doesn't buy toilet paper. They keep a basket with clean cut rags and have a basket for used ones. When the used one gets full they dump it in the washer, dry them, fold them and reuse...even if stains did not come out.

I immediately thought about how most of us want out of the way private potties. Could you imagine visiting this house and having to go only to find that you could not flush all the evidence! Obviously no one in the family has UC!

Great stories! Sherry, I can only imagine...three ply toilet paper and heated toilet seats - I might have never left. Ha!

Those Japanese really know how to do toilets - I know my friend bought one because it was so state of the art.

And yuck...can you imagine washing everyone else's used rags? And the odor left behind...wow.

Lonie, don't tell anyone else about that bathroom! And tell your friend to not tell anyone else. You want to make sure it stays unknown and little used. Awesome! Any UCers dream come true.

Thats extreme. Why not install bidet? One time cost (and water) thats about it.
One of Irish colleague's mom reuses aluminium foil and I thought thats too much!!
