Worried about ItsAlwaysSomething

Jeez, I didn't know that she lived in MA- I too live in MA, & lived in Boston for years, went to the marathon many, many times... I can say it's been pretty tense the past few days. People are very upset, disheartened, disgusted, etc. I believe they have identified a suspect, but only by face, not name. I hope to hear from her soon- thankfully, I did not know nayone hurt in the bombings. But I do know quite a few people who were there, & had a heckuva time contacting runners, friends, etc. immediately afterwards. It sucks, no other way to phrase it.

When somebody stops posting I don't worry about them, I am happy for them. More than likely they are in remission or otherwise no longer need support. And you have to admit that sometimes the forum has its share of drama, whining, and soap operas. She is probably enjoying herself on a cruise or something.

In one episode in the TV series HOUSE he ended up committed in a mental hospital. (He is a brilliant diagnostician but has serious relationship and interpersonal issues.)

Anyway whenever a patient was released from the hospital the other patients and staff would bring out a cake and celebrate with a party. And everyone would sing, but in a loving way, "we hope to never see you again".

Hi Everyone-
Sorry about the delay in responding to e-mail and posting on the forum. I really appreciate all the good thoughts but the reasons for my "disappearance" are pretty mundane.
Since the weather has been relatively mild, I've been doing a lot of yard clean-up and repairs to house and car. Currently involved in trying DYI auto-body rust repair on my aging Nissan Altima.
I'll do anything to save a buck so I can spend on cruises. Going to AK 1st week of June and have now scheduled a S. Caribbean adventure 11/1 - 11/15.

I live in Western MA but have many friends and relatives who live or work in the Boston area. The events at the Marathon were shocking....too close to home.
Now, I'm really disgusted with those who would criticize the efforts of the FBI and our local police to hunt down and swiftly deal with those responsible. I think the people of Boston were happy to have sent a "message" to those who might want to do something similar.

I have browsed on the forum from time to time but did not see any questions that had not really been answered so....no recent posts. I do think of many of you as my "forum friends" and appreciate your concern and good wishes.
