For those of you who are steroid dependent, what dosage are you on? I'm sure you want to take the lowest possible dose but do you have to take it and other maintenance meds?

I was using maintenance meds along with pred when I was trying to taper off. i think it's easy to stop maintenance meds (for some of us) when we are on a high dose of pred but while tapering, the lower the dose, the more you may need to be taking something else to keep symptoms at bay.

I felt I was on this last course of pred that lasted from january until the end of last month. Dropping the dose resulted in more bleeding and I am on 7.5 mg of coumadin blood thinner.

Doc refused uceris.

I consumed Raw Adrenals and got on the RS diet and tapered really fast, fastest ever. Glad to be clear of that and facial fat went away with first 10 lbs, now trying to get rid of the love handles that grew out of nowhere. Bike, sprints, daily weightlifting and more protein less carbs while remaining on the RS diet. Did $200 in labwork today 10 bundles of tests from direct labs.com in one discount bundle. Ferritin is the key metric, need to not become that anemic ever again.
