Occasional bleeding?

Sometimes when i wake up and go to the Bathroom, theres blood. This usually happens just in the morning.
I go 3-6 times a day now. Sometimes theres no blood at all, but today there was a lot of blood and i put in a hydrocortisone suppository since i can't do the enemas. Why do i still have this occasional blood? I feel like it might be just a little inflammation in my rectum hmm...

You are probably right about the rectal inflammation. Are you intolerant of mesalamines?

I hope the suppository gives you some relief.

I am intolerant to all mesalamines sadly. My doctor tried to put me back on canasa in Feb, and it made me bleed more so he told me to stop them. Why does my sig keep disappearing :(
I'm currently on 25 mg of pred, 9 mg uceris, ccherbal, and i've had my 4th remicade infusion last weds.
I'm feeling a lot better then i have in 6 months. When i was bleeding heavily and going up to 30 times a day.

kazbern i have a question, when i was still with my old GI, he literally had me on the steriod enemas 2-3x a day for months.... and someone told me that is very bad for the rectum tissue and my rectum is damaged because of that, could that be true??

Yes, long-term topical steroid use can damage the tissue of your rectum. Same thing is true for steroid creams you use on your skin if you have excema or something. You have to be careful with this stuff.

I'm glad you're feeling better. It would be great to get you off the oral steroids and even the uceris. {{{HUGS}}}

Could i be bleeding for that reason? Its just a thought
And thank you hopefully soon I will get off all the steriods :)

It's impossible for me to say. Maybe you should ask for a sigmoidscope so your GI can see if there's still significant inflammation in the rectum.
