I was wondering for those ladies here who's UC affects their vagina how it started. This is TMI. The other day I woke up feeling like I had a tear but I had not had intercourse in over a week. Today I tried to have it and my whole inside was irritated. I know it could be something as simple as not drinking enough water but with the tear feeling I am worried. Not enough water has made me feel like that before. Any thoughts? Who would I talk to my gastro or Gyno?

I would be pounding the water for a day or 2 to see if that is what it is, otherwise, I would be making an appt with my Gyno. How are you feeling UC-wise?

Vagisil relieves my pain...I had this problem for a few days and started drinking my black cherry concentrate again, and it went away..

I had mucusitis before. A lot of pain and discomfort. Gyn said it was UC related.

Southrngirl which type of vagsil did you get? I went to the store and bought some that gives moisture because the other was for itch and it doesn't itch. Thanks everyone

It was for itch, but it also helped the burning. I hope the moisture kind helps too..if not try the other.

I had that a problem like that. My vaginal Walls were thinning do to low hormones. So now I have a hormonal ring in that fixed the problem right up. But you are young yet. Maybe the meds dry things out. I like the idea of the vagisil to add more moisture.

Tapering Pred made my lady parts feel crappy. Not a tear feel, but "a just don't touch me because it doesn't feel good" feel. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated and get checked out to make sure there isn't a tear or an irritated area.

Thanks ladies. I did go to the doctor. I have a little bacteria infection from the lowered immune system. So thank goodness not UC affecting me.

I clicked this thread because the thread title claimed it was about
interesting female parts. Then after I read it, it wasn't interesting at all. Oh well. At least my post count is higher by 1 now..
j/k
