What to do...colonoscopy

after receiving a colonoscopy and endoscopy and my colon hasn't changed main left side and rectum and ulcers were found in my stomach...DR insists its not that bad but doesnt stop my bleeding and lack of control of my stools...Remicade didnt work, Uceris didnt work, Asacol and all of those types didnt work...onto 6mp which scares me and not sure what the next step is...

surgery? or is that not on your list.

Regarding ulcers in your stomach, were you tested for h. pylori?

ARe you on any meds for stomach ulcers?

Time to switch GI docs maybe? Yours doesn't sound like he has a sense of urgency to help you.

I'm confused though, you tried Remicade but 6mp scares you? There is always surgery.....you would be done with UC for good.

i see one of the top docs around here at Jefferson...surgery has been an option but being a cure from what i read isnt so cut and dry plus my life situation at this current time make that option very difficult...our first baby is due in August, and i own and run my own business which requires me to be on top of things 24 hours a day, not sure how i could take weeks off at a time and still have things continue

You need to consider probotics as well. VSL #3 works well for a lot of people (including myself).

i take vsl 3ds and it seems to give me more gas than anything
