Thanks! New Yorker magazine 10/22/12 issue featured an article on researcher Blaser at NYU & his interesting take on H.pylori in gut evolution-- which was cited here on the forum last fall. The biome is definitely BIG on the research front these days. / Old Hat (32 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

Fascinating. Long read but worth it. I am actually a part of the American Gut Project. At some time in the future I will get a list of the microbia residing in my gut. Whether it will be of any help or not I don't know but it certainly can't hurt. This article has given me several ideas to explore.
