I've heard a lot about
drainage between surgeries 2 and 3 for those who have had j pouch surgery. I had an emergency colectomy and end ileostomy back in December, and had the j pouch and temporary loop ileostomy on May 7th about
10 days ago. I had drainage even after my colectomy but still haven't had any drainage after jpouch surgery. Is this something I should be worried about
?

You would probably get a better response on the ostomy form, most of us here haven't had surgery. We do have a handful of dedicated members who have been through the surgeries, hopefully they see this and respond.

Not sure what you mean by drainage. Can you be more specific?
