I'm hungry

Yes, I'm constantly hungry while on pred. I am even hungry after just eating something lol. I am insatiable.

Right now I just go with it. The pred hunger can be a blessing if you had lost a lot of weight during your flareup, as I did (my wife said I was weak, all skin and bones, and she could count my vertebrae and ribs). So, I've been indulging my hunger cravings, lots of snacking and such, and I now weigh in at 136.5 pounds, which is wonderful as it is what I weighed before the flare happened (an all around healthy weight for me). I suppose I should stop soon though as I don't want to have to much of a Buddha belly haha.

If you don't want to gain weight then you have to either ignore the pred hunger cravings, or find healthy snacks that are both filling and low in calories.

Makes me think of the Simpson's episode where Homer gets thrown out of an all you can eat seafood buffet. The sea captain exclaims Homer ate all the food he had plus two plastic lobsters. Homer said he wasn't done yet because he hadn't eaten all he could eat. <--- that's me on Pred in a nutshell.

I am on 40mg of pred and am also hungry all the time! I just keep a jar of sunflower seed butter in my office and just eat a spoon full here and there..
